Flavours

 

The following is a selection of my most popular flavours; if you have something in mind that is not listed, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. 

VANILLA

A light and airy sponge, flavoured with Madagascan vanilla. Filled with either vanilla or elderflower buttercream and a choice of raspberry, strawberry or blackcurrant jam.

CHOCOLATE

A rich, indulgent cake, made with 70% Callebaut chocolate, sandwiched together with a chocolate ganache or salted caramel

COFFEE & HAZELNUT

An intense and airy cake with a rich coffee flavour, hazelnuts and a hint of chocolate. Sandwiched together with a hazelnut praline buttercream.

LEMON & BLUEBERRY

A buttermilk sponge, lightly flavoured with a hit on lemon & packed with blueberries, filled with lemon buttercream, lemon curd & fresh blueberries.

WHITE CHOCOLATE & RASPBERRY

A rich vanilla sponge, sandwiched together with white chocolate buttercream and raspberry compote.

SALTED CARAMEL

Vanilla sponge baked with brown sugar. Filled with salted caramel sauce and caramel buttercream.

STRAWBERRY & PROSECCO

A delicate strawberry sponge made with real strawberries, filled with a prosecco buttercream.

RAFELLO

A soft almond sponge with a hint of amaretto. filled with coconut buttercream and coconut custard.

PINA COLADA

A light coconut sponge sandwiched together with rum buttercream a pineapple jam.

RED VELVET

A light chocolate & buttermilk sponge, Finished with a cream cheese or vanilla buttercream.

CARROT & WALLNUT

Our carrot cake is, spicy and moist, with toasted walnuts and juicy sultanas. Sandwiched together with cream cheese or cinnamon buttercream.

CHERRY BAKEWELL

A delicate almond sponge with a hint of amaretto, sandwiched together with an almond buttercream & morello cherry conserve

Dietary Requirements, Allergen & Intolerances

We are happy to cater for all requests for special dietary requirements, so that none of your guests need to miss out on a delicious slice of wedding cake. We appreciate that food intolerances can affect people in different ways, so please feel free to ask us about our vegan & gluten-free cakes.

It is extremely important that you make us aware of any dietary issues that may affect how we make your cake, if after you have ordered your cake you discover an allergy issue please contact us as soon as possible so we can update your order.

Ausel Cakes & Catering accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes therefore it is the customers responsibility to make us aware of any special dietary needs.

Please note we work from a kitchen that uses gluten & nuts so we cannot guarantee there will not be any cross contamination.
